Canasta
Four players, two teams and a shared plan. Partners sitting opposite each other build and extend shared melds. A meld starts with at least 3 tiles of the same number, regardless of colour; at 7 or more tiles, it becomes a canasta.
- Clean canasta: natural tiles only; dirty canasta: includes wild tiles
- Melds with more than 5 tiles are displayed in a compact layout
- At 6 tiles: a yellow stripe appears over the tiles
- At 7 or more tiles: a red stripe marks a complete canasta
The team with the highest total at the end of the match wins.

with a good combination.
For Meld Rummy and Board Rummy, start with the two basic formations. Tap the examples to see the difference. In Canasta, melds use tiles of the same number regardless of colour; runs are not allowed.

Blue 4, 5 and 6 make a run: at least three consecutive tiles of the same colour.

Three 9s, each in a different colour, make a group. Their number is the same; their colours are different.

Rummy45 is a social tile-rummy game with Meld Rummy, Board Rummy and Canasta, clubs and competitions for entertainment. It involves no gambling or real-money stakes. The community began in 2009 and has welcomed more than 18 million registrations over time.
Where does “Play now” take me?
On Windows it opens the PC game page. On Mac, iPhone and iPad it opens the App Store; on Android it opens Google Play. Recognised Huawei devices are directed to AppGallery. You can always choose your store in the download section. Check the store for exact device compatibility.
What can I do in a club?
Join a community of players, support your fellow members and follow your club in the rankings. Explore the available clubs and options in the game.
What is the Champions Tournament?
It is one of the Rummy45 competitions. Open the game’s tournament section for the schedule, entry requirements and rules.
How does CAJR work?
The Annual Rummy Players Ranking considers results from the last 12 months. New results enter and old results leave, so the ranking reflects your recent progress rather than just the age of your account.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. Online games, clubs and tournaments require an internet connection.
Are there real-money stakes or prizes?
No. Rummy45 is for entertainment, without real-money stakes, cash prizes or material prizes.

How do I know when a canasta is complete?
Melds with more than 5 tiles are displayed in a compact layout. At 6 tiles, a yellow stripe appears over them. At 7 or more tiles, a red stripe marks a complete canasta.
